SGR Compliance participated in the NextGen Payments & RegTech Forum 2025, held on 7 May 2025 in Barcelona, a key international event dedicated to digital payments and regulatory technology.
The Forum brought together industry leaders, compliance professionals, and RegTech experts to discuss the main regulatory and technological developments shaping the European payments landscape.
Key discussion areas included:
- future of Payments in Europe, with a focus on emerging technologies such as digital currencies, instant payments, and contactless solutions;
- regulatory and compliance challenges, including the impact of PSD2 and AMLD6 and the role of RegTech in risk management;
- financial crime prevention, highlighting the use of AI and cross-border cooperation to combat fraud and money laundering.
By participating in the Forum, SGR Compliance contributed to the exchange of best practices and engaged with key professionals in compliance, AML, financial crime prevention, and anti-fraud, discussing evolving solutions to support efficiency and address day-to-day regulatory challenges.
